  • Guest Programs Supervisor – John Ball Zoo, March 2019-present.

    • Train and supervise seasonal education staff to teach concepts of animal biology, sustainability and conservation, animal welfare, and more to audiences of all ages and demographics

    • Guide behind the scenes guest experiences (ex. penguin feeding and red panda encounter)

    • Create educational resources for staff, such as species fact sheets and educational games

  • Lead Zoo Guide – John Ball Zoo, March-December 2018.

    • Facilitate zoo’s interactive exhibits, ensuring guest and animal well-being

    • Interpret “Daily Animal Programs” such as feedings, training, and enrichments

  • Animal Care Volunteer – John Ball Zoo, January 2019-present.

    • Perform routine husbandry tasks including cleaning, diet prep, enrichment, etc. for numerous species such as chimpanzees, various herps, small mammals, and goats

  • Education Docent – Potter Park Zoo, April 2018-present.

    • Enact various educational programs in and out of the zoo using biofacts and ambassador animals

    • Lead guided tours throughout the zoo with specialized themes (ex. What’s for Lunch?)

  • Big 5 Research & Youth Empowerment – African Impact, February 2018.

    • Collect and analyze data on rhinos, elephants, leopards, buffalo, and lions in the Kruger Area

    • Actively engage in community projects such as gardening, Reading Club, animal care, and more

  • Experience Facilitator – John Ball Zoo, August-December 2017.

    • Assist with zoo experiences such as budgie feedings, bird show, camel rides, and funicular rides

    • Engage guests in a positive directive to ensure safety, comfort, and enjoyment

  • Education Intern – Binder Park Zoo, May-August 2016.

    • Facilitate various education programs, such as overnights, outreaches, camps, etc.
